Spain Out
A woman decorates a roscón with cream during the making of roscones de Reyes, at Obrador El Panazo, on January 4, 2023, in Madrid (Spain). The nearly 600 artisan bakeries in the Community of Madrid plan to sell more than 2.8 roscones de Reyes, with cream and truffle fillings being the favorite among Madrilenians. The price of this sweet has risen an average of 10%, according to the Association of Artisan Pastry Entrepreneurs of Madrid (ASEMPAS). The roscón de Reyes is the typical sweet of the Three Kings Day, next January 6, and puts an end to the Christmas holidays. Photo by Eduardo Parra/Europa Press/ABACAPRESS.COM
