Robert Redford says he may soon quit the Sundance Film Festival he founded 36 years ago, admitting: "I don't like what's happened." The Hollywood legend does not hide that he thinks the "early years felt best" for the festival - and does not like the way corporate and marketing forces have taken over. "They're taking away some of the textures and qualities that were here that gave it a kind of intimacy," Redford told The Hollywood Reporter. "I don't like what's happened." And amazingly he admits that he may step away from the festival that has always been a key part of his life. "Sometimes you have to change the guard. And that includes me," he told the mag. Asked if it was worth the distraction - and possible damage - so much time and effort he put into the festival, he admits: "That's an open question."
