Życie w Algierii - Redux
Residents of Constantine walk past the Sidi M'Cid Bridge. Opened to traffic in April 1912, the 164m-long suspension bridge spans a gorge 175m deep. Famous for its dramatic bridges, this eastern Algerian city has been selected by the Arab League's cultural arm to be the Capital of Arab Culture in 2015. The Algerian government has promised to invest in cultural projects and festivals in anticipation of 2015.
