Locals villagers in the village of Nong Pawa have been fighting for the closure of a recycling plant for over 10 years which has severely polluted the surrounding land due to its lack of safety precautions and poor maintenance. Now closed down, the struggle continues to pressure the government to force the owner of the factory to clean and restore the surrounding environment.
