FILE -- (NYT17) EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- April 4, 2007 -- OBIT-ROBINSON-2 -- Coach Eddie Robinson on the sidelines as his Grambling football team played Hamptons University at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, in 1997. Robinson, who in 55 seasons at Grambling State University in Louisiana became the first college football coach to win more than 400 football games, more than any other college coach in history, died on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 in Ruston, La.
