According to a soldier from Hyatt Tahrir al-Sham, who had been detained in the Palestinian branch for two years, more than 200 people were detained in this room. He said that when they slept, they all lay on their sides, head and feet alternating. When someone in the room died a debilitating death, he said, they would carry them to the door and knock on the door to let them know that someone had died, but the guards did not take them in immediately and the bodies were left in the room for about a week.
