The balloon launch station is seen from the AWIPEV observatory. the tethered balloon (nicknamed "Miss Piggy") is seen in the back. The atmospheric boundary layer is the purpose of investigations of the tethered balloon. A couple of weather instruments record parameters of temperature, humidity, and wind, getting information on the air layer we are living in.

La station de lancement du ballon, vue depuis l'observatoire AWIPEV. Le ballon captif (surnommé "Miss Piggy") est visible à l'arrière. La couche limite atmosphérique est l'objet des investigations du ballon captif. Quelques instruments météorologiques enregistrent les paramètres de température, d'humidité et de vent, obtenant ainsi des informations sur la couche d'air dans laquelle nous vivons.
