Full mooon at 6 pm in the Adventdalen Valley, near Longyearbyen, in Norway's Svalbard archipelago.
I took this picture in the only half hour of light during the polar night, with a 13-second exposure. The polar night in Svalbard starts gradually in October, lasting until late February. During the darkest two months (mid-November to mid-January), with the sun sitting even farther below the horizon, there is no light at all. The days at the beginning and the end of the polar night are filled with incredible and magical color.Longyearbyen.

Pleine lune à 18 heures dans la vallée de l'Adventdalen, près de Longyearbyen, dans l'archipel du Svalbard en Norvège.
J'ai pris cette photo pendant la seule demi-heure de lumière de la nuit polaire, avec une exposition de 13 secondes. La nuit polaire au Svalbard commence progressivement en octobre et dure jusqu'à fin février. Pendant les deux mois les plus sombres (de mi-novembre à mi-janvier), le soleil étant encore plus bas que l'horizon, il n'y a pas de lumière du tout. Les jours au début et à la fin de la nuit polaire sont remplis de couleurs incroyables et magiques.
