Bond of true friendship in Marigoini Slums, Nairobi, Kenya. 17th September 2007 Mutava carrying Braise back from School to home. On the way home another friend and neighbour always carries their bags for them. In the morning's, Charity, Braises mother normally carries the bags. 12 year old Mutava Mutie, carries his 11 year old best friend and disabled neighbour (In Marigoini Slums) Braise Chogo to and from school (St.Catherines Primary School) everyday. The two boys are always together. They go to school together, eat together, attend classes together and play together. Braise, has Spina Bifida and is paralysed from the waist down. He is unable to control his bowls or bladder. He lives in a one room shack with his parents and sister in the depths of Marigoini slums. For the last 2 years, Mutava wakes up at 6am everyday, collects his friend and carries him on his back for the 2km walk to school. At School Mutava lovingly looks over his friend for the whole day.??
