Drowning in work for net profit...... This fisherman sits surrounded by a sea of nets as he meticulously mends them. The nets sprawl out filling the room, in the southern region of Thailand, with over a 100 meter diameter of material per net.
Jabi Sanz, 47, said, “I love the serenity and calm nature of how the local people approach tasks such as these. He is repairing a web of traditional casting fishing nets which have over a 100 meter diameter.”

The images were taken In the Southern region of Thailand last year
2. How did you capture the shots?
To be able to take the images wasn't an easy task. I have to find a high elevation, in this case the roof of the van I had rented. With a wide angle lens try to compose the image. It's top down.
3. Do you know how much netting is surrounding the fisherman, in terms of size or how many nets?
Its was just one net and i don't know the exactly size but i believe was over 100m
4. Do you know how many nets can be sewn in a day or week?
This is actually repairing
5. What is your favourite thing about the images?
The serenity, the calm, the old school of how to do things, and the hospitality of the local people.
