Children play in the damaged building. Iraqi citizens make their homes in the bombed and abandoned former headquarters of the Iraqi Air Defense complex in Baghdad. There are over one hundred families living in the abandoned building, most having moved their because they have run out of money after the end of the war. Many men lost their jobs after the war and others had their rents raised so much they were forced to move out of their former apartments in Baghdad and elsewhere in Iraq.
