Protesty antyrządowe w Tajlandii
Anti-government protestors take over Sanam Luang in Bangkok in a movement that has expanded from students to include other anti-government supporters including the pro-Taksin Shinawatra followers known as Red Shirts. Police maintain a barrier to stop them going closer to the Royal Palace. In the largest anti-government protest to happen in Thailand since the 2014 coup, tens of thousands of protesters calling for political change gathered in Bangkok on September 19th 2020. The protestors are calling for the dissolution of the military backed government, re-writing of the constitution, complete political reform and the removal of Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha.
