After a couple of years away from the music scene, during which she married Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, Avril is heading for the top of the charts again with her latest CD. With first single Girlfriend currently number one in Europe and Australia and top 10 in the US and UK, her new album The Best Damn Thing looks set to repeat the multi-million selling success of its two predecessors.
