Octopuses caught from the fishing boat "Marc'h Mor" are gathered in a bag off the coast of Ile Molene, western France, on May 7, 2026. Abundant and easy to catch, the octopus was the most commonly species present in fish markets last year in the Finistere region in Brittany northwestern France. After a sixty-year absence, the eight-armed cephalopod has become one of the most sought-after species among Breton fishermen. (Photo by Fred TANNEAU / AFP)
