A vacant lot used by pilgrims as a parking area. To await the "fujenti" after the long journey buses and cars. Hundreds of thousand of pilgrims crowd the small village of Sant'Anastasia, Naples, to celebrate the miracle of the "Madonna Dell'Arco" who bled from the cheek. Pilgrims walk from neighboring villages and Naples, some walk more than 35 miles, bringing along the whole family. It's a tradition to cover the distance barefoot.
