KSIAZE KAROL RETRO
PHOTO: EAST NEWS/REX FEATURES PRINCE CHARLES AT CONTROLS OF 'PRINCE' THE ENGINE ON THE WAUNFAWR TO RHYD DDU RAILWAY Of the all places Prince Charles was expecting to meet his perfect match, he probably wasn't counting on it being on an obscure Welsh railway line. But Prince Charles not only met his perfect match there, but rode it too. For as Britain's heir to the throne steamed into the little-known Welsh station of Rhyd Ddu, Charles took control of his engine, and namesake, Prince. The real prince didn't look too thrilled with his match, however. He seemed rather more preoccupied with the grey drizzle that was threatening to dampen the occasion.
