A member of an autodefensa group Por un Aquila Libre (For one free Aquila) cleans himself in a river, in Aquila, Michoac?n, July 20, 2013. The group expelled the local police in the town of Aquila on July 24, 2013. On August 5, the Mexican Army (Ejercito) seized the weapons of the autodefensa group, after the group took an Army official into custody. There are currently over 20 towns in Mexico under the active control of citizens autodefensa groups.
