A group of women sits beneath one of the life-size sculptures of a herd of Asian elephants on display in Green Park in London, England, on June 16, 2021. The sculptures, intended to highlight human-wildlife co-existence and the importance of protecting biodiversity, were made out of lantana camara vines by indigenous communities in the Tamil Nadu region of southern India, who live their everyday lives alongside elephants. The installation forms part of the so-called Co-Existence Project, run jointly by charities the Elephant Family and The Real Elephant Collective.
