American actors Warren Beatty and Natalie Wood pose for the photographers at the Cannes Festival in May n1962. Actor and film-maker, born in Richmond, Beatty made his film debut in "Splendor in the Grass" (1961). He produced "Bonnie and Clyde" (1967), co-wrote "Shampoo" (1975) and cop-directed "Heaven can Wait" (1978). He was the producer, co-writer and star of "Reds" (1981), which won him an Oscar as Best Director. Later films include "Dick Tracy" (1990).
