Horn of the New Jersey State Police is shown in this photo with a box containing a pair of woman???s shoes which he took before the grand jury investigating Bruno Richard Hauptmann???s connection with the Lindbergh kidnapping, Sept. 25, 1934 . Horn said he had obtained the shoes from Hauptmann???s home and added he had established definitely that the prisoner bought the shoes and paid for them with a $20 gold certificate one of the ransom bills.
