It has been announced that 30,000 British troops are now holding the line in the western front alongside their French comrades. And still the old horse trucks are being used for troop transport, just as during the last war. The same old notice "forty men; eight horses" is still written on probably the same trucks. And the cheerfulness of the troops is the same. The "Hommes 40" looks from their cattle truck before leaving a British base for the front line somewhere in France on Oct. 20, 1939.
