Only six crew members are allowed over the wall during a pit stop, and for these team Paretta Autosport Indy 500 practice pit stops, four of them were women. Paretta Autosport made history as the first-ever majority-women team to compete in the Indy 500 in 2021. The team has a woman owner, driver, women engineers, spotters, a majority of the pit crew, and every front office role is filled by a woman.
