The Aga Khan, spiritual leader of the world's Ismaili Muslims, makes his way across carpets laid on the ground in his honour, Saturday May 27, 1995 in Tajikistan's southern town of Khorong in the Gorno Badakhshan region, which borders on Afghanistan. Some 300,000 Imaili Muslims gatherd to pray and honour the Aga Khan, who delivered humanitarian aid from his foundation to the region.
