46781, LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - Wednesday October 27, 2010. FILE PHOTO dated March 8, 2002, showing legendary blind muscian Ray Charles in his Los Angeles studio. The famous studio will open to the general public next year as The Ray Charles Museum. The museum contains seven galleries on the ground floor of a two-story building that Charles had built in 1964. Located in the historic Harvard Heights neighborhood, it houses his offices and archive of master tapes and memorabilia, as well as a recording studio. Alongside educational interactive displays and plenty of film and audio footage, the museum contains mementos such as costumes, gold records, and, of course, a selection of Ray's dark glasses. The museum is run by a nonprofit foundation that Charles established in 1986 to focus on needy and underprivileged children. Photograph: ??Paul Harris,
