Cofan indigenous leader Emergildo Criollo talks with actress and environmental activist Daryl Hannah as they walk to an oil waste pit at a separation plant built by Texaco in the Guanta Oil Fields in the Ecuadorian rainforest during the company's operations from 1964-1992. The oil separation plant was built on what once was the Cofan people's hunting grounds. Pollution from the plant now contaminates the water supply of Criollo's village of Dureno.
