This photo made on July 7, 2012 shows a young Masai girl as she runs through a manyatta near the village of Nkoilale in Narok district. Thanks to an outreach programme established by three wildlife conservancies in this area bordering the Maasai Mara game reserve, young Masai boys and girls are being given the opportunity of proper schooling which has a particular impact on girls, reducing instances of forced, early marriage which can result in girls as young as nine being married.
