A terrifying looking mongoose locking eyes with the photographer PANCHKULA, INDIA TERRIFYING IMAGES of a mongoose bearing its teeth have been captured. Images show the scary mongoose doing its best and biggest yawn showing a mouthful of tiny but sharp teeth. A mongoose is any of nearly three dozen species of small bold predatory carnivores found mainly in Africa but also in southern Asia and southern Europe. Mongooses are noted for their audacious attacks on highly venomous snakes, such as king cobras. These images were captured by businessman Anuj Jain (45) from Chandigarh, India. Anuj captured the images in Cactus Garden, Panchkula, India on his Nikon Z8+180-600mm. “I noticed this cute little mongoose near a cactus plant. The mongoose noticed me and was not afraid of me. It rather yawned. I took a burst of shots,” said Anuj. “It looks as if the mongoose was mad at me but the mongoose was just feeling lazy. “Mongoose are not rare but they are shy and would normally run away before you can take a picture. “I felt lucky that the animal trusted me and I clicked the shutter at the right moment. “In these shots it looks as if the animal is really angry. “Moments like this are a reminder of the beauty of nature's creation and the need to preserve it.” ENDS
