‘I’ve given birth to five kids but still have washboard abs at 57 – I’m not your average hot gran'
A hot grandmother, who is nearing 60 but still has abs you could crack a walnut on, says people constantly tell her to dress her age.
Influencer, Fran González has given birth to five children – her oldest is 37, the youngest 25 – and has eight grandkids, but says she’s “not a typical grandma”.
The 57-year-old certainly doesn’t look it – despite being close to retirement age, the runner and health coach appears fitter than most people in their 20s and 30s.
But although has over 200,000 followers on Instagram (@frangibar), Fran’s good looks and the fact she won’t (quite rightly) hide her incredible body don’t always go down well with ageist trolls.
Others can’t believe their eyes – or Fran’s age.
“They usually say things like the clothing [including bikinis] aren’t appropriate for someone my age or I shouldn’t show my body like this,” Fran told What’sTheJam.
“I’m not sure if it’s jealousy [that causes these trolls to say these things], maybe it’s a lack of acceptance of someone dressing differently than them.”
“It seems to be mostly older men and a few women.
“Is it only young people who can wear the clothes they want?”
Fran, who is from Chile but is currently based in Spain, used to work as a school principal but quit to follow her dreams because she didn’t want to end up “worn out and tired”.
She does resistance training three to four days a week and will run or go for a bike ride up to five days a week.
The key to her abs is all about nutrition though.
The hot gran said: “I have always looked after my body after each pregnancy, and I’ve always practised sport and worked out.
“The abs are more about nutrition, after menopause, I’ve changed to a more anti-inflammatory diet.
