Walk the beaten path: Porth Tyn Tywyn
WALES THE BEAUTY of the wild, far western coasts of the UK can be seen captured in these astounding images.
From the island of Ynys Llanddwyn to Black Point Beach on the Isle of Anglesey, these images have captured the unique charm of the UK’s coastlines.
The Isle of Anglesey is a county off the northwest coast of Wales. It is named after the island of Anglesey, which makes up 94% of its area.
The island of Anglesey, at 676 square kilometres (261 sq mi), is the largest in Wales and the Irish Sea and the seventh largest in Britain.
These mesmerising images of UK coastlines were captured by British photographer Gareth Mon Jiones (44) using his Nikon z6 camera and a 20mm f1,8 lens.
“I love these types of images as they capture the beauty of my home, the Island of Anglesey,” he said.
“Capturing images like these calls upon a lot of patience to get the timing right for the perfect light and weather conditions.
“With the UK’s unpredictable weather, it becomes tough, but when you do get to capture that one moment where everything falls into place, it’s almost magical.”
