This make-it-yourself mirror, with small pieces of glass fixed to a convex core, helps simulate a parabolic mirror. The repeated image of an eye serves a construction purpose in this demonstration; the more eyes and the smaller they are, the more closely the mirror becomes to being a paraboloid surface.
