Movie motorheads can buy 13 of the vehicles featured in Mad Max: Fury Road as they are being sold at auction on Sunday (26September2021) . Australia???s Lloyds Auctioneers are selling 13 cars from the beloved 2015 film. Among the vehicles that will go under the hammer in a sale which closes on Sunday are Max's Interceptor with supersized wheels, a double-aspirated V8 blower engine, and weaponry. Charlize Theron???s character Furiosa's famous War Rig, the centerpiece of the film, is also on the auction block. The 18-wheeled hot rod truck with outfitted with twin V8 engines and mounted weapons sits alongside Nux's super-turbocharged Chevy Coupe V8. Also available to buy are Immortan Joe's Heavy Artillery Buick with a Hummer weapon mount and the Doof Wagon, complete with mounted drums, stacked speakers and a flame-throwing guitar. Several convoy cars are also being auctioned alongside the 1956 Pontiac Safari used as the War Boys' pole car in boarding parties and the 1959 Cadillac Coupe repurposed as the flagship Gigahorse. Estimated prices for the cars have not been revealed, as bids remain confidential, with inspections available Australia-wide.
