Stilt-on walkers....... A family of tiny harvest mice balance in mid-air on stems of grass and wheat. The rodents use their prehensile tails - tails adapted to grasp objects - as an extra limb to help cling to the stems. Female mice also build nests when pregnant by weaving the long grass into spheres in which they then give birth.
