The green whip snake proceeded to spray venom into the owl's face. BOGOR, INDONESIA: HILARIOUS images have captured the moment an owl got more than it bargained for when it tried to gobble up a snake. In one image, the buffy fish owl could be seen as it landed on a branch and looked shocked as a green whip snake appeared to hiss and yell at its unwanted guest. In another image, the 39-inch snake appeared to have had enough of the two-pound owl and proceeded to bite its nose and spray venom into its face as the owl spiked its feathers with fear. The action-packed images were taken by director Ajar Setiadi (54) from Bogor, Indonesia, who captured the surprising attack in his hometown from 13-feet away. The two rivals fought for over two minutes before going their separate ways. Ajar captured these shots using a Nikon D500 camera. Buffy fish owls are native to Southeast Asia and can reach up to 18-inches at full adult size. These owls typically feed on fish, frogs and small birds and live in wet, tropical areas. Green whip snakes are native to Italy and can reach up to 59-inches at full adult size. These snakes feed on small birds, frogs and lizards and are venomous - but this is generally not problematic due to how weak their venom is. mediadrumworld.com/@ajarsetiadi
