Solar panels are installed in agricultural fields, in the village of Killi, near Bab al-Hawa by the border with Turkey, in Syria's northwestern Idlib province, on June 9, 2021. - Across Syria, at least 90 percent lack a stable power supply, according to estimates cited by the United Nations' Development Programme (UNDP). In rebel-held areas, there is little hope of state-provided electricity.
