These amazing Sun silhouette images are the work of Indian photographer Krutik Bharat Thakur. Based in the small coastal town of Dahanu, Krutik, 19, discovered a talent for artistic images during time spent social distancing at the beach during the pandemic. Borrowing a camera from a friend of the family, he was able to conjure up scenes where his shots made the Sun appear as items including ice cream in a cone, a football, a cricket ball and a flower. He has now roped in friends to create ambitious shots requiring expert timing to catch the Sun as it slowly sets. Krutik explains: ??sI live in a beautiful and peaceful environment and love to spend time on the beach. Sunset has always attracted me, but I always wished to own a device where I can capture it, but had no idea how. ??sI had two options: either leave college and get a camera, or pay college fees and use a mobile phone camera or request a camera from someone. I chose the second option. ??sMy elder sister gave me her brother-in-law's DSLR camera to use for a few days. During the evening time, I used to go to the beach alone and practice and experiment. ??sI spent months learning, using a rented camera and sometimes a friend???s. I experimented different genres of photography, but found my niche doing sunset silhouette. ??sMy friends were able to go to beach with me and shoot with the sunset. Now things have started to change in my life: I got my family supporting me like never before, and I???m no more an introvert because I speak with my photographs.???
