It is thought that the jacket could achieve $200,000-$400,000 when it goes up for sale at Julien's Auctions' 'Music Icons' Auction in Los Angeles. It was worn by the late singer during 14-minute video for what proved to be the top grossing single from highest selling album of all time. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the jacket will benefit The Shambala Preserve, which is home to the tigers that used to live at Jackson's Neverland Ranch. "It's a highly sought after piece and should sell extremely well," said Martin Nolan, executive director of Julien's Auctions. The jacket is just one of over 600 items from the biggest names in rock-n-roll that will be going under the hammer. Other Jackson memorabilia include a stage worn fedora (estimate $2,000-4,000), a wig worn at the O2 London press conference for "This is it," (estimate $4,000-6,000) and a glove worn by the singer at the American Music awards (estimate $20,000-30,000). Other memorabilia belonged to such stars as The Beatles, Elvis Presley and Madonna. This includes a cape worn by Ringo Starr in the film Help! (estimate $6,000-$8,000); an army issue sewing kit belonging to Elvis Presley (estimate: $600-$800) and a digital representation of the song 'Band on the Run' that has been signed by Paul McCartney (estimate: $1,500-$3,000). The Music Icons auction will be held by Julien's Auction in Beverly Hills on 25-26 June.
