The Women's Tennis Association [WTA] has launched a new celebrity-driven ad campaign in a bid to attract new fans. Stars such as Susan Sarandon, Nadine Coyle, Richard Branson, Aretha Franklin and Randy Jackson all appear in new ads for the Strong is Beautiful campaign. Top players such as 14-time Grand Slam singles title winner Serena Williams, and four-time major champions Maria Sharapova are also part of the promotion. "This is the first campaign where we have tapped into celebrities," Andrew Walker, the WTA's chief marketing officer, told the New York Post.
