Wondered what it's like to live in Lord of the Rings? Now you can stay in a Hobbit home right here in the UK
Take a leaf out of Gandalf’s book and snuggle up in a tiny hut plucked straight from Hobbiton.
Nestled in the fields of Little Hereford, the hobbit house, officially known as Shire’s End, is an underground pod built into the grassy hills.
Featuring classic circular doors and windows, the mystical home offers the perfect getaway for any Lord of the Rings superfans.
Stepping inside, the cosy living room awaits, decked out in wicker and wooden furniture, taken straight from Sherwood Forest, as well as a snug armchair.
To the right, the tiny kitchen is located, with everything needed to mash, boil or stick some potatoes in a stew – just like Samwise – readily available.
There’s also a bathroom with all the necessities and at the end of the hut is a double bedroom, complete with big quilts and bookshelves.
For a spot of fresh air, there’s patio furniture to the front in a private area, with cows and other farm animals free-roaming around the hills.
The hut offers picturesque views of the countryside and is a great location for couples who are seeking a romantic getaway in the UK.
Just a stone’s throw away from Ludlow, where medieval streets are waiting to be discovered, there are many activities on offer – as well as shops, restaurants and pubs.
The company also shared a clip of the hobbit home to TikTok, (@sykescottages), which has gathered over 1.6 million views and 17,000 likes.
As they take the camera around the cosy home, each room and the incredible views are revealed.
The post was captioned: “Wishing we were spending our weekend at Shire’s End.”
Users have flocked to the comments, with many Lord of the Rings fans intrigued.
