Hollywood beauty Cameron Diaz and ???Good Charlotte??? star Benji Madden have splashed out $14.7 million on a mansion in Los Angeles. The couple ??" who welcomed their first child at the start of the year ??" snapped up the 9,287 square foot home in the Benedict Canyon area ??" which is just north of Beverly Hills. It has seven bedrooms, ten bathrooms and a resort style pool in 1.68 acres of land ??" which is surrounded by lush trees and rolling hills. The home features multiple seating areas with formal and informal gathering areas. Just off the formal living room, there???s a dining room which comes complete with its own wine wall. It leads directly into the large, open concept kitchen with light grey cabinets and white marble countertops. There???s a large centre island with a gold-plated sink. A kitchen table sits just to the left of the island beside doors leading to the garden. Downstairs, there is also a home cinema and two bedrooms. The master bedroom suite comes complete with its own balcony and luxurious bathroom. A free-standing soaking tub sits beside a natural coloured tile wall, that houses the marble walk-in shower with dual shower heads. Each side of the bathroom also has a separate toilet area. There???s also a substantial walk-in closet. The compound-style home also has a guest house which has a small kitchen with sink, microwave, electric range stove-top and eating nook. Outside, there???s a small seating area and an outdoor BBQ, pool and hot tub.
