Q-trucks of the desert is a not inapt a term for the trucks mounting anti-tank guns which are used as highly mobile, hard-hitting artillery units. They speed over the desert like lighting and attack the enemy from all sorts of unexpected quarters. One of the units, making contact with a German column, accounted for three enemy tanks and four armoured cars.
