Blue Springs Park in central Florida is a winter haven for up to 800 manatees. Save the Manatee Club, has two of its staff members based here. Wayne and Cora are doing their daily manatee count for population stats as well as general health checks. They are able to distinguish the manatees by their body scars from injuries. Wayne has been doing this for over 30 years and has memorized hundreds of scar patterns.
