Picture shows Wanstead Park- part of Epping Forest to the east of London tinder-dry in the scorching heat of Sunday afternoon.
Many of the lakes & waterways within the park are completely dried out.
Thames Water has warned that this extreme weather will result in hosepipe bans in the near future being implemented.
