The team struggled to find pit crew shews that came in sizes small enough for women's feet, so the female members had to sacrifice a personal pair of shoes to the job until they were able to source actual pit crew shoes in women's sizes. Muller's personal shoes are covered in tape. Paretta Autosport made history as the first-ever majority-women team to compete in the Indy 500 in 2021. The team has a woman owner, driver, women engineers, spotters, a majority of the pit crew, and every front office role is filled by a woman.
