Kenya Fly Fishers' Club (KFFC) began life as the Kenya Angling Association in 1919 becoming the oldest fishing club in Africa.Nowadays, Kenya is a growing destination for tourists wanting to fish trout in its extensive network of rivers and lakes. Also, a growing number of Kenyan individuals and businesses are developing interest in the sport while trying to extricate fly fishing from its colonial past and playing a role in conservation of Kenyan's streams through repopulation of the rivers with fish and other environment programs.
