Pictured: Workers look like ants as they are dwarfed by huge piles of rice at a mill in Bangladesh. The images were taken by Mohammad Hedayet Sarker in the Brahmanbaria district of the city. Mohammad said, "The paddy is being collected after drying in the sun and then put into sacks to be transported". "It is lower class people who work here from poorer areas of the country - and it's usually familes of 4 or 5 who sort the rice from sunrise to sunset. A small room for each family to stay in is provided by the mill owner." "They are paid in advance, but don't earn very much. Men earn around ?L35 a month but women earn less, around ?L17 per month."
