The two water monitor lizards went head-to-head. YALA NATIONAL PARK, SRI LANKA: ACTION-PACKED images captured two water monitor lizards looking like they were re-enacting a scene from the iconic film A Land that Time Forgot. Like giant dinosaurs from the classic b-movie, two lizards could be seen dancing around each other as if they were battling to the death. As the last image shows, the two 35-pound male and female lizards were in fact performing a mating ritual, even sharing a heartfelt cuddle at the end. The images were taken by nature photographer Christopher Ang (65) from New York, USA, who captured the mating scuffle in Yala National Park, Sri Lanka from 30-feet away. Christopher used a Canon 7D Mark II camera, with a Sigma 60-600mm lens to capture this one-of-a-kind moment and shared these images on his Instagram, @chrisangphoto.mediadrumworld.com/Christopher Ang
