There was a jaw-dropping face-off when a vulture and jackal came face-to-face in Kenya???s Masai Mara. Wildlife photographer Ahmed Abu Ganem captured the scene as the bird spread its wings to try and ward off a rival for food. He says: ??sThe jackal and the vulture have been attracted by the remains of prey left after the lion has eaten it.??? Thankfully, there was enough to go around and the jackal trotted off with a tasty leg.
