Tesco has started rationing toilet roll to just one per customer as England's third lockdown officially came into force today (Wed). Signs were seen at the store in Cambridge as supermarket shelves across the country were cleared by customers stockpiling goods. Shoppers were seen with trollies piled high with toilet rolls at a cash and carry in Cambridge this morning, whilst there were empty shelves at Sainsbury's, Tesco and Asda in the city.The toilet roll aisle was empty at Sainsbury's and there were also bare shelves in the fruit and vegetable sections.
