Surferki z Bangladeszu - Redux
Aisha skateboards March 20, 2019 in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. The Bangladeshi Surf Girls and Boys is a youth club comprising of a few dozen girls and boys living and working in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. Poverty is forcing them into early adulthood, as they are obligated to shoulder the responsibility of earning money to help feed their families. Most children who have been conscripted into the role of wage earners have little joy in their lives, but they have been?learning to surf and skateboard thanks to the efforts of surfer, lifeguard, surfer, and beach worker Rashed Alam, his wife, American expat Venessa Rude. Surfing and skating empowers them and gives them an outlet to be children.
