The work, "Zip-Fastener Ship???, is the creation of artist Yasuhiro Suzuki, and was exhibited in the recent Sumida River Sumi-Yume Art Project, where it sailed along the waterway which flows through Tokyo, Japan. The work was inspired by the artist looking down on Tokyo Bay from the window of an airplane and seeing that a ship and wake going through the sea seemed to open the water like a zip fastener. The "Zip- Fastener Ship" made a round trip from Azumabashi on the Sumida River to Sakurabashi from October 31st to Sunday, November 8th.
